Better than good greetings, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
In our Holy Ghost events every Sunday morning, this month, we’ll be looking at a series of teachings with the theme: LIVING IN TOTAL HEALTH.
It is my heartfelt prayer that you won’t allow the devil to take advantage of you concerning your health any longer, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
You must know & understand that your original physical design by God can’t accommodate sickness & the likes.
You’re a citizen of heaven & space was never created for stuffs like sickness or any sufferings or negativities there.
All those things were outlawed there with the author & his cohorts, so you must ensure that they’re outlawed in your own life, too, entirely – Ephesians 2.19; Revelation 12.7-8.
We’re on the earth here as ambassadors of heaven & our main assignment is to enforce the will, the desires of our heavenly Father, His Kingdom & that of His Christ, & our Lord’s Kingdom must be duplicated here, including the aspect of total health – 2 Corinthians 5.20; Matthew 6.10; Psalm 24.1; Revelation 5.12.
Please, don’t accept or promote any excuse to tolerate failure in any department of your life, including your health.
React sternly against failure by the Word of God & the helps of the Holy Spirit! 1 Corinthians 12.7; 13.8(a).
Had Job known that God was bragging over him against the devil, he won’t have waited for His change, he would have enforced it!
Our heavenly Father doesn’t take one good thing away from us to give us another one, it’s the devil who takes good things from people to give them inferior things with sorrows – Psalm 16.4 – but our good heavenly Father is always adding good things to us, without sorrows – James 1.17; Matthew 6.33; Philippians 4.19; Proverbs 10.22.
Looking at the mission of Jesus in Luke 4.18-19; & Acts 10.38, it is very clear that He came to restore the Father’s Kingdom in the area of total health, also, among others.
When He commissioned the Apostles, restoration of total health was also top priority on the agenda – Matthew 10.7-8.
Having said these much, in the school of total health, there are some crucial & vital questions we must individually answer in concert with Scriptures, & these questions form the crux of our teachings this month.
Today, we’ll look at 2 questions:
- What do you want? What do you need? Mark 10.46-52; & Matthew 20.30-34 help us in this regard. The Lord Jesus didn’t assume anything with the 3 men in those scenarios who wanted to benefit from His blessings & healing power. He still asked them what they wanted & if they so much believed in Him to rescue them. Their answers, showing their desperation, deliberateness, intentionality, & purposefulness encouraged Him to deliver for them immediately & maximally! When you read Psalm 23.1,3-6, you’ll see this same focus in David’s approach with the Lord.
2. Where are you? Isaiah 46.13; 2 Corinthians 5.17; Obadiah 1.17; Hebrews 10.25; Psalm 84.7.
Your location determines what you experience & what you enjoy!
As far as God is concerned in our dispensation, after His death, resurrection & ascension, Jesus Christ is the Place to be if you must live in Total Health, & not just being in Him but being yoked together with Him, allowing Him to regulate, guide & control your life according to His standards – Hebrews 1.1-3; Matthew 11.28-30.
A Christian will readily admit & accept the fact that because there’s change of weather & the rains have started, therefore, malaria fever & flu must be prevalent, so he readily welcomes the bouts of sicknesses whereas a more knowledgeable & faith practising Christian says, yes, there’s change in the weather but because he’s productive in Jesus, he disallows Satan & his demons from penetrating his body with any sickness – Hebrews 12.1-2; 6.12; 4.2.
So, even though 2 Christians under the same weather conditions but having different results by incorrect or correct & unprofitable or profitable application of knowledge.
Where you are from is far superior to where you are now, & the One Whose you are, Whom you serve, in Whom you are, & Who is in you is invincible & impregnable to every attack of the wicked one, so rather than allowing that wicked one to take advantage of you, you should be smarter in the covenant & take advantage of heaven & the forces of the Spirit of Life at your disposal! 1 John 4.4; Colossians 3.3; 1.27; Revelation 12.11; Isaiah 59.19.
This is your week of SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
The same God Who supplied such strength to Jacob that in his old age, he travelled in horse driven caravan to see Joseph in Egypt will strengthen you supernaturally that in total health, you’ll see your children’s children, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
This same God Who carried Moses for 120 years such that His eyes never grew dim & his natural strength never decreased, that at that age, he was still climbing mountains, He’ll ensure that you climb to the topmost top of where He has ordained & prepared for you even in your good old age before you sleep in glory, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
