Yesterday, in our Glory to Glory Word Hour, at KDCG, we considered 2 more blessings of Total Health in this concluding part of the teaching series that we started at the beginning of the month.
My prayer is that now that you know these major blessings, you’ll take advantage of what it takes to get the blessings as you live in Total Health the remaining days of your life, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
1. When you’re living in Total Health, more people will believe the Gospel of Christ, the Word of God & also receive Jesus as Saviour & Lord – Acts 8.5-7(KJV):
5 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them”.
6 “And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did”.
7 “For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed”.
There are some people, just as Jesus said, that except they see the proof of what is being preached, they won’t believe & accept Jesus – John 4.48(KJV):
“Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe”.
When people see you living in Total Health & you share your testimonies with them, they’re compelled to accept as truth what you’re telling them.
Our Lord Jesus encountered such opposition but His undisputable proofs silenced them – Luke 4.23:
“And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country”.
He also told them, in John 14.30(KJV):
“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me”.
This means that the author of sicknesses & sufferings couldn’t force those evils on Him!
As you abide in the Word being motivated by Love, you won’t know sicknesses & sufferings in your life again, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
2. The experience of Total Health creates the atmosphere of joy in the environment – Acts 8.8:
“And there was great joy in that city”.(KJV)
Satan never wants people joyful & happy in the Lord but that’s exactly what our Father wants!
That’s why the Gospel is interpreted as “Good News”, what you hear & experience that fills your heart with joy & gladness!
We as heaven’s representatives are to spread the good news with divine ability & authority!
While on the missionary journey in Langtang, on the plateau in Nigeria, the Lord moved so mightily that the Galadima(second in command to the king)of the town was coming to church, who told the king about the Gospel, the inherent power & us, His servants, & we were subsequently invited to the palace, & he, the king requested that we should regularly serve him the Communion.
When people are being saved genuinely & receiving deliverance & getting healed by the power of God’s Word & His Holy Spirit, joy is going to be resultant effect, & remember, the Kingdom that we’re representing is in joy – Romans 14.17:
“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost”.(KJV)
No wonder then, virtually everywhere Jesus gets to, no matter how saddening the situation is, He’ll always tell the prospective beneficiary to cheer up.
His mission & ours by Him is to ensure that as many as receive & believe on His Name have a glorious change of story – John 1.12(Amplified version):
[12]”But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name”–[Isa. 56:5.]
How Do You Get These Blessings?
1. Be conscious always, be assured that you possess the Life of your heavenly Father, the same Life that Jesus has, so that you can promptly react against anything contrary to that Nature in & around your life, including your health – 1 John 5.13; & 1 Timothy 4.8:
1 John 5.13(Amplified version):
[13]”I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life”.
1 Timothy 4.8(KJV):
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but GODLINESS is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come”.
Godliness is God’s Life, Eternal Life, God’s Nature Who was imparted to you when you received Jesus into your life as Saviour & Lord – John 17.2-3(Amplified version):
[2]”[Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him”.
[3]”And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent”.
This Heavenly Nature is immuned against ALL evils & ALIVE for ALL BLESSINGS, including Total Health!
As you live & walk in the consciousness of who you are in Christ, powers of darkness will surrender to your authority, & this will remain your testimony, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
