COMMANDING THE SUPERNATURAL – 2

Better than good greetings, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

I know it was a great time with God’s saints today in His Presence.

The joy of His Presence will always put you on top, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

At KDCG, today, we explored two more keys as we continued in the teaching, Commanding The Supernatural – 2.

1. By Faith – Mark 9.23(NIV):

“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes”.

Mark 9.23(Living Bible):

“If I can?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if you have faith”.

Faith is believing in God, His ability & His Word.

Faith is acting on the Word of God, the Word of God is the horse that faith rides.

Faith puts the believer on the same performance platform with God – Mark 10.27 (NLT): “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God”.

Mark 9.23 states that everything is possible if you have faith!

Faith is indispensable in the school of the SUPERNATURAL – Hebrews 11.6(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

“But where there is no faith it is impossible truly to please Him; for the man who draws near to God must believe that there is a God and that He proves Himself a rewarder of those who earnestly try to find Him”.

Faith makes God to prove His Almighty power in & through your life with the miraculous – Hebrews 2.4(Good News Bible):

“At the same time God added His witness to theirs by performing all kinds of miracles and wonders and by distributing the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His will”.

By faith, Jesus fed thousands of people with what seemingly wasn’t enough – John 6.5-6(Amplified version):

5 “Jesus looked up then, and seeing that a vast multitude was coming toward Him, He said to Philip, Where are we to buy bread, so that all these people may eat”?

6 “But He said this to prove (test) him, for He well knew what He was about to do”.

In 2 Kings 4.42-44(KJV), Faith was at work in the ministry of Elisha, as one hundred men were fed with twenty loaves of barley, & there was still left over:

[42]”And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat”.

[43]”And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof”.

[44]So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the LORD.

2. By walking in Love – 1 Corinthians 12.31(NLT):

“So you should earnestly desire the most helpful gifts”…

1 Corinthians 12.31(NIV):

“…And now I will show you the most excellent way”.

1 Corinthians 13.8,13(Amplified version):

8 “Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]”…

1Cor.13.13 – And so faith, hope, love abide [faith – conviction and belief respecting man ‘s relation to God and divine things; hope – joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love – true affection for God and man, growing out of God ‘s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love”.

As powerful as faith is in the school of the SUPERNATURAL, it completely depends on love to deliver!

Faith is barren without love – Galatians 5.6(Wycliffe New Testament):

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision is any thing worth, neither prepuce, but the belief that worketh by charity [but faith that worketh by charity]”.

The believer is grounded outside of love – Revelation 2.4-5(Amplified version):

4 “But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love]”.

5 “Remember then from what heights you have fallen. Repent (change the inner man to meet God ‘s will) and do the works you did previously [when first you knew the Lord], or else I will visit you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you change your mind and repent”.

Love is the hanger on which the believer stands, unruffled – Matthew 22.37-40(KJV):

[37]”Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind”.

[38]”This is the first and great commandment”.

[39]”And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”.

[40]”On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Love is the horse on which faith rides – John 14.21,23(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

21 “He who has my commandments and obeys them–he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will clearly reveal myself to him.”

14:23 “If any one loves me,” replied Jesus, “he will obey my teaching; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Can Jesus reveal Himself to you & He & the Father make their home with you, & you won’t be commanding the Supernatural?

From this moment, you won’t be miracles dry again, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

Whatever has been impossible to you before now, you’ll begin to have them very cheaply, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

This is your week of possibilities!

Be better than good!

PEACE!

JESUS IS LORD!
