I am quite sure that you’ll not want this season to end because of the next level you’re moving into in the realm of the SUPERNATURAL!

This evening at KDCG, in our Glory To Glory Word Hour, we continued in our teaching series, The Purposes Of The Supernatural – 2, & we examined two more purposes.

1. The supernatural makes the believer to focus on Jesus alone – Hebrews 12.1-2(Amplified version):

1 “Therefore then, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us”,

2 “Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God“.

God doesn’t like options, for people to have alternatives to Him, His Word & Power.

Some people may claim to have blessings & miracles, & they even attribute that to God’s favour, when in actual fact, they know where & who they went to.

Someone who joined the occult because of promotion at work or for business to boom can’t say it was God.

People who play pools, coupon betting, fraudsters, armed robbers, kidnappers or those who are involved in ungodly, unChristlike ventures shouldn’t attribute that to God.

God won’t contradict Himself & won’t be inconsistent in His Word – Psalm 1.1-6(Amplified version):

“Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather”.

2 “But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night”.

3 “And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]”.

4 “Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away”.

5 “Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God]”.

6 “For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God ‘s will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought)”.

There are people that children of God should emulate, those who are consistent in their walk with God, who made our Lord Jesus their perfect pattern – Hebrews 6.12(Amplified version):

12 “In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises”.

Our heavenly Father doesn’t like options – Psalm 16.4(New Living Translation):

“Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods.

    I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood

    or even speak the names of their gods“.

The Living Bible renders Psalm 16.4 like this:

“Those choosing other gods shall all be filled with sorrow; I will not offer the sacrifices they do or even speak the names of their gods”.

People who look for options outside God & His Christ are looking for multiplied sorrows & troubles.

It is only the blessing of God in Christ that makes people rich without sorrows – Proverbs 10.22(New Living Translation):

“The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and He adds no sorrow with it”.

I remember sometime when I needed some money & it was like there wasn’t any way out, as pressure was mounting but I believed God & His Word(knowing fully well that by His grace, I’ve been following His Word), that He’ll make a way for me, & true to His Word, finances came in more than I expected & on time, too.

Until Abraham was fully persuaded that God was able to perform His Word, the promised child, Isaac didn’t come – Romans 4.17-21(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

17 “so that the promise should be made sure to all Abraham’s true descendants; not merely to those who are righteous through the Law, but to those who are righteous through a faith like that of Abraham. Thus in the sight of God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and makes reference to things that do not exist, as though they did, Abraham is the forefather of all of us. As it is written, <“I have appointed you to be the forefather of many nations.”>”

18 “Under utterly hopeless circumstances he hopefully believed, so that he might become the forefather of many nations, in agreement with the words <“Equally numerous shall your posterity be.””>

19 “And, without growing weak in faith, he could contemplate his own vital powers which had now decayed–for he was nearly 100 years old–and Sarah’s barrenness”.

20 “Nor did he in unbelief stagger at God’s promise, but became mighty in faith, giving glory to God”,

21 “and being absolutely certain that whatever promise He is bound by He is able also to make good”.

As long as he had options, God also folded His arms to see where His options will lead him…

Until Sarah believed in God’s faithfulness, her almost dead body & dead womb were not rejuvenated to carry Isaac & deliver him –

Hebrews 11.11(Message Bible):

“By faith, barren Sarah was able to become pregnant, old woman as she was at the time, because she believed the One who made a promise would do what He said”.

Anyone who focuses on Jesus alone doesn’t get disappointed.

The height children of God are to attain in life shouldn’t afford them to have options in the journey of destiny.

Our Father doesn’t want you to shortchange yourself by having options against Him!

2. The supernatural makes the believer to avoid shame – John 2.1-11(KJV):

[1]”And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there”:

[2]”And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage”.

[3]”And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine”.

[4]”Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come”.

[5]”His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”.

[6]”And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece”.

[7]”Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim”.

[8]”And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it”.

[9]”When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom”,

[10]”And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now”.

[11]“This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on Him“.

It is very obvious here that shame was looming for the bridegroom but thank God that he invited Jesus to the ceremony, & because of the miracle Jesus did there, the shame was averted.

We had a love feast in the church I was attending some years ago & I was informed that food may not be sufficient because demand had exceeded supply.

I told our people not to worry, that it would be more than enough.

Just as Jesus asked His disciples to tell the people to sit down in companies, in John 6, everybody sat down, & I asked those serving to serve the invited guests first.

At the end of the day, there was still left over.

During the same love feast, the sound system suddenly developed an unknown fault but after a while that it couldn’t be fixed by the technicians, I put my hand in the hand of their leader & asked him to go & lay his hand on the instrument, lo & behold, sound production was restored, & there wasn’t any shame.

From this moment, as you honour the Lord by avoiding any other options against Him, & you obey Him, sorrows, troubles & shame will be far from you, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

I command sorrow free blessings, suffering free miracles to be the order of the day in your life, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

Bye bye to shame to defeat to suffering order of life for you, & begin to move from glory to glory to glory, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

Beloved, we’re in a world where & when people don’t actually have faith in God but glory be to His name for His Church, in whom HIS Word is being preached in the DEMONSTRATION OF THE SPIRIT & POWER SO THAT PEOPLE’S FAITH WILL NOT BE IN MEN’S WISDOM BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD – 1 Corinthians 2.4-5(Amplified version):

4 “And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them]”,

5 “So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God“.

As much as the powers of darkness are trying to hold back the fulfilment of the glorious, royal & golden destinies of people, our heavenly Father in His Wisdom is also using the preaching of His Word to save, help & bless men – 1 Corinthians 1.21-24(Wycliffe New Testament Bible):

[21]”Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe”.

[22]”It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom”.

[23]”So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense”.

[24]“But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God“.

Although in the Church, you’ll still see & hear some people behave in ways & say

things contrary to God’s Will(either they’re babies in Christ or they’re not growing in the Lord & His Word as they should), the truth is that, the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD’S WILL IS SPREADING & FILLING THE WHOLE WORLD – Isaiah 11.9(KJV):

“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea“.

Beloved, you’ll discover from the above Scripture that remedy against evil & suffering is only by correctly applying the Word of God & adapting to His lifestyle after the order of our Lord Jesus.

We are made to understand that because of Jesus, our heavenly Father’s Love Gift to mankind, we’ve been accepted into the Father’s BELOVED, that is, He now sees us as He sees Jesus, He sees us as His LOVED CHILDREN, & we also should see & relate with Him as such:

Ephesians 1.6(KJV):

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved”.

One major thing you notice about lovers is that they always say the same things, because they’re in LOVE, they BELIEVE(they have faith) in each other, they operate in the spirit of agreement, they do the same things, whether they’re together or apart, for a while:

John 5.19-20,30(KJV):

[19]”Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise”.

[20]“For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel“.

[30]“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me“.

We see the reason for these great operations of the LOVERS because of the Spirit of agreement:

1 John 5.7-8(KJV):

[7]“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one“.

[8]“And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one“.

In like manner, beloved, since we now belong to the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, we’re to be thinking, speaking & behaving the way They do, in love, agreement & faith!

We are not to speak the language of the world which is full of unbelief, hopelessness, hatred, unhealthy competition, selfishness & wickedness:

John 8.44(Good News Bible):

44 “You are the children of your father, the devil, and you want to follow your father’s desires. From the very beginning he was a murderer and has never been on the side of truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is only doing what is natural to him, because he is a liar and the father of all lies”.

Believers in our Lord Jesus, the beloved children of our heavenly Father, are to speak our natural heavenly language of love & faith, even as we hear & keep(obey) His sayings – Jn 8.55(Message Bible):

55 “You haven’t recognized Him in this. But I have. If I, in false modesty, said I didn’t know what was going on, I would be as much of a liar as you are. But I do know, and I am doing what He says“.

Luke 8.15(Message Bible):

15 “But the seed in the good earth—these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there’s a harvest“.

Lovers have good hearts towards each other, always holding their words dearly unto fulfilment!

Many believers in the Body of Christ, in a bid to be modest, have gone off into error & falsehood, by not keeping, saying & doing the Words of the Father & our Lord Jesus.

To them, saying what is happening around & not what is written in Scriptures in their favour, is modesty, but the Message Bible Translation correctly puts it that it is false modesty!

True modesty is thinking it, speaking it, doing it & living it, just as our Father & our Lord Jesus did it:

Romans 4.17(Amplified version):

“As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed”.

Mark 11.22-23(Wycliffe New Testament):

22 “And Jesus answered and said to them, Have ye the faith of God”;

23 “truly I say to you, that whoever saith to this hill, Be thou taken, and [be thou] cast into the sea; and doubt not in his heart, but believeth, that whatever he say [but believeth, for whatever thing he saith], shall be done, it shall be done to him“.

Whatever is too big for your mouth to say both in the secret & publicly will always be too big for your hands to handle!

When in love & faith, you speak & do God’s Word, as He promised, certainly, you’ll see the fulfilmment!

I have no doubt that the SUPERNATURAL is answering to you accordingly & favourably?

We come today to the concluding part of that crucial subject, The Essence Of The New Testament Church!

By the helps of the Holy Spirit, in the two earlier parts, we were able to establish from the truth of God’s Word that the Church of Jesus, the Body of Christ, is our heavenly Father’s Wisdom to POWERFULLY & FORCEFULLY RECONCILE MAN TO HIM in his original state, as Adam was in the garden of Eden, in splendour & glory, before the fall.

It was also established that the WORD OF GOD is the major active ingredient in the accomplishment of this task because the Word is the main food for the recreated spirit of man (to grow steadily & fruitfully) who the Holy Spirit relates with directly, in order to direct the soul.

The Word of God is also the main sustainer & cleansing agent for the soul of man, which is the seat of intelligence and emotions, in order to respond to the command of the spiritman & to regulate the body .

With these basis, it becomes imperative for man to accept responsibility in order to fully maximise & optimise his potentials for a most fruitful & accomplished destiny & purpose!

The beloved Rev Hagin(Snr), who has since gone to be with the Lord Jesus, told me a story in one of his books – The Triumphant Church, Pages 296-203 – about an encounter he had with the Lord in a vision, sometime in 1952.

He said that Jesus was speaking with him & suddenly, a demon came in between them with a cloud of darkness & distracting sound.

According to the servant of the Lord, our Lord Jesus was still speaking to Him but because of that demonic interference, he couldn’t hear what the Lord was saying, & he was wondering if the Lord didn’t know that he couldn’t hear Him.

After a while, he said he commanded the evil spirit to leave in the name of the Lord Jesus, & it did.

After that, he said he asked our Lord Jesus why he didn’t do anything about the situation, & to his amazement, our Lord Jesus, according to him, told him that He couldn’t have done anything…

He further said that the Lord Jesus explained to him that the Father & He, the Lord Jesus, have done all that is needed to be done for man with regards to power to handle the devil & his powers of darkness…

Beloved, that’s just an example of accepting responsibility.

Many a times in the Body of Christ, we want to do what the Holy Spirit is to do while we want the Holy Spirit to do what we should do or we don’t even want to do anything at all but just to be spoonfed & that’s why powers of darkness & their agents take advantage of such Christians & feed them with chaff!

Things won’t work that way & that’s why many children of God are still suffering but when we consistently take grace that’s been made available, then we won’t suffer again & we won’t be disgraced any longer!

Titus 2.11(Amplified version):

“For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation(divine helps) for all mankind”.

Titus 2.12-14(New Living Translation):

[12]”And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God”,

Titus 2.12(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

“training us to renounce ungodliness and all the pleasures of this world, and to live sober, upright, and pious lives at the present time”,

Titus 2.12(KJV):

[13](NLT)“while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed”.

[14](NLT)“He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds”.

God’s grace TEACHES, TRAINS & INSTRUCTS us about godliness(God’s Lifestyle) so that we can apply ourselves to those teachings & adapt to His Nature, thereby excelling in life inspite of the devil!

Hebrews 12.28 is a command, not an encouragement, KJV:

[28]“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear“:

This is simply saying that if you truly believe in God, His Christ & His Kingdom, then DEPEND ON HIM ALONE & HIS WAYS THAT JESUS CHRIST CAME TO SHOW US & WALK & LIVE THEREIN!

Apostle Paul helped our understanding with regards to grace, in 1 Corinthians 15.10(Wycliffe New Testament):

“But by the grace of God I am that thing that I am; and his grace was not void in me [and his grace was not void, or idle, in me]. For I travailed more plenteously than all they [But I travailed more plenteously than all they]; but not I, but the grace of God with me”.

One of the major blessings of grace is that, it makes obedience to God’s, Jesus’ & Holy Ghost’s commands very easy for us to obey & gladly, also, thereby pleasing our God!

The Holy Spirit testified of God’s grace on the Berean Church that made them more honourable than the Thessalonian Church – Acts 17.11-12(New Living Translation):

[11]”And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth”.

[12]“As a result, many Jews believed, as did many of the prominent Greek women and men“.

Acts 17.11-12(NIV):

“Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true”.

12“Many of the Jews believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men“.

Beloved, did you read that, they searched & examined the Scriptures day by day, everyday, to know the truthfulness of what they were told, so that they can apply it & adapt to Jesus!

That is responsibility!

It is true as it has been said, that responsibility is the price for greatness!

Our Lord Jesus asked us to LABOUR FOR THE MEAT THAT DOESN’T PERISH, THE BREAD OF LIFE!

John 6.27,29,32-33,35(KJV):

[27]”Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed”.

[29]”Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent”.

[32]”Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven”.

[33]“For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world“.

[35]“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst“.

Jesus is here saying that in whatever work I give you, as long as you’re born again in His name, make sure you keep checking on me(because JESUS IS GOD’S WORD PERSONIFIED – Revelation 19.13; John 1.1-5,12,14).

He’s saying, that way, as long as His children & servants keep checking on Him in His Word & doctrine,  accepting responsibility, we’ll keep triumphing in life, the devil & the past not withstanding!

2 Timothy 2.15(Amplified version):

“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth”.

Remember sir, remember ma, that you & I in His Body, are His instruments of His wisdom to put in check the powers of darkness – Ephesians 3.10 (Amplified version):

“[The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere”.

May you surrender to the Lord & take grace to reign in life as you’re ordained  in Jesus before the world began, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

JESUS IS LORD!

Without any doubt, I am sure that you’re cresting on in the SUPERNATURAL, & that’ll be your perpetual lifestyle, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

Today, at KDCG, we commenced a new series of teachings in our Sunday Holy Ghost service, titled:

COMMANDING THE SUPERNATURAL!

I believe the teaching of God’s Word will be a great blessing to you, producing BETTER THAN GOOD encounters, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

The supernatural is the natural habitat of the child of God – John 3.8(Amplified version):

8 “The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit”.

The child of God is unfathomable, can’t be predicted to be disturbed by the forces of darkness because of who he is & where he is from – Isaiah 33.16(New Living Translation):

“These are the ones who will dwell on high. The rocks of the mountains will be their fortress of safety. Food will be supplied to them & they will have water in abundance”.

Isaiah 33.16(Amplified version):

16 “[Such a man] will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; water for him will be sure”.

Everything about the child of God has been programmed for the SUPERNATURAL!

Sometime ago, about Easter season like where are approaching, one of the Deacons in the Ministry we were then approached me to pray over the foundation of a building he was starting.

About three months later, surprisingly, he presented, me with a brand new car gift, after he had roofed the house.

According to him, in his thirty five years of service in a federal government agency as a senior officer, he had attempted building 3 houses but they never got beyond window level before abandonment.

So, to him, it was a miracle that in three months, he was able to roof that building, & by God’s grace, resources to completion was sure.

There was this lady also, a lecturer in one of the higher institutions in the city where we were, who was undertaking a building project.

In the course of a Sunday morning service, she heard me say that to borrow money to build a house isn’t necessary as God is the One Who builds houses for people.

She said in her story, that I said in case anyone is at the point of taking a loan, such a one should stop the process.

So, she went back to the cooperative society in the school where she was processing the loan to stop the process.

The officer in charge there was said to be surprised & asked that in Nigeria, how can someone successfully do any meaningful project without borrowing?

The sister replied her that her Pastor preached in church the previous day that loans aren’t necessary & that God will do it.

There was a man there, a moslem, who was listening to their conversation, & at that point, he chipped in that what the sister’s Pastor is teaching them was right.

He told them that of the four houses he built, he didn’t take any facility.

When she took me to the building project site to pray for her & over it, it was a huge project but glory be to our faithful Father, Who completed it for her without stress.

Beloved, you need to be so conscious of who you are, where you’re from & know  all forces at your disposal, if you must not live like ordinary people.

From John 3.16, & Isaiah 33.16 quoted earlier, it is very clear that the SUPERNATURAL separates & differentiates you from the unbeliever!

An unbeliever may even accomplish some things but with much stress while the believing believer will accomplish things without stress!

That’s the way our Father has ordained it for us in Jesus!

How then do you command the SUPERNATURAL?

First, you must understand that in this Kingdom, every principle is founded on the Word & produce by the Word, so your  heart connection with God’s Word is the strong bedrock of the SUPERNATURAL – Mark 16.20(Amplified version):

20 “And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it)”.

Mark 16.20(Wycliffe New Testament):

Without the WORD OF GOD, there’s nothing for the Lord to confirm with signs & miracles!

Anywhere you see the snail, as long as it’s alive & to be fruitful, the shell is always on its back, it can’t be separated from the shell.

Anywhere you see the monkey also, it’s tail is always following behind, there’s no separating them.

Likewise, in the realm of the SUPERNATURAL, it’s practically impossible to separate it from the Word of God.

The supernatural has been divinely factored into the Word of God for manifestation.

John 1.1-5(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”.

2 “He was in the beginning with God”.

3 “All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing that exists came into being”.

4 “In Him was Life, and that Life was the Light of men”.

5 “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it“.

Apostle Paul helped our understanding here when he asked the Galatian church this question, Galatians 3.5(New Living Translation): “…does God… work MIRACLES among you because you obey the law of Moses? Of course NOT! It is because you BELIEVE THE MESSAGE(THE WORD) YOU HEARD ABOUT CHRIST”.

I was lecturing in the Bible School in Yola(Northern Nigeria), & a Deacon there heard me talk about getting your miracle by speaking forth the Word.

I even asked the students to demonstrate, for those who want cars, maybe Mercedes Benz, how they’ll drive it, & this Deacon did.

Not up to three months after, he bought his Mercedes Benz car ridiculously cheap!

In working of MIRACLES, the WORD OF GOD is the constant active ingredient.

You don’t beg for miracles as a child of God, rather you WORK out MIRACLES!

You don’t wait for MIRACLES, you WORK MIRACLES! – 1 Corinthians 12.10(KJV):

“To another, the WORKING OF MIRACLES…”.

Your relationship with God’s Word determines your MIRACULOUS lifestyle – 2 Corinthians 4.13(NIV):

“It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.

With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak”,…

What happens when you speak God’s Word in any particular situation in which you desire the SUPERNATURAL?

When you speak God’s Word in faith, angels go to work to bring about the MIRACULOUS – Psalm 103.20(AMPLIFIED version):

20 “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word”.

Giving voice to God’s Word moves angels to action on your behalf – Hebrews 1.14(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

14 “Are not all angels spirits that serve Him–whom He sends out to render service for the benefit of those who, before long, will inherit salvation”?

Every blessing I have enjoyed in my thirty years of walking with the Lord, by His grace, has majorly being by holding on to His Word, encounter with His Word & speaking forth in His Word.

I don’t joke with His Word & I don’t permit negative utterances around me!

In our family, it is a LAW not to say anything good is finished.

Food is plenty…; money is plenty…; I am strong…; etc etc.

You may not like it but you see, I’m not to live my life by what you like but by how it is divinely commanded!

You may say it’s not reality but I’ve chosen to stay with the “foolishness & weakness of God”, because it has always proved to be “wiser & stronger than men” – 1 Corinthians 1.25(Amplified version):

25 “[This is] because the foolish thing [that has its source in] God is wiser than men, and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men”.

Beloved, it’s time to give His Word it’s rightful place in your heart & life & the SUPERNATURAL will be the order of the day for you!

This is your week of GLORY!

This evening at KDCG in our Glory To Glory Word Hour, we started a series of teachings with the theme:

THE PURPOSES OF THE SUPERNATURAL!

Certainly, when the purpose of a thing is known, you’ll stick with it to maximise & optimise the advantages, without going to extremes & without going into satanic errors & manipulations.

Obviously, whatever our heavenly Father has put in place for our enjoyment & profit is certainly on purpose.

What then are the purposes of the SUPERNATURAL?

Today, we looked at two out of the eight we have for this month.

1. The supernatural brings glory to God: Malachi 2.1-2(KJV):

[1]“And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you“.

[2]“If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart“.

The New Testament Church is the Church of priests & kings: Revelation 1.6; 5.10

(KJV):

Revelation 1.6:

[6]“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen“.

Revelation 5.10:

[10]“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth“.

If you carefully look at these two verses, two statements stand active: “…hath made us…”; “…hast made us…”.

We were MADE, implying a conferment.

Now, you don’t confer a title or divine appointment on yourself, it’s not by self acclamation but you’re conferred by someone higher than you in authority & ability, someone who has what you don’t have but is needful for you – Hebrews 5.4-5 (Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

4 “And no one takes this honourable office upon himself, but only accepts it when called to it by God, as Aaron was”.

5 “So Christ also did not claim for Himself the honour of being made High Priest, but was appointed to it by Him who said to Him, <“My Son art Thou: I have to-day become Thy Father”;>

It is our Father’s will for us as His children to be enthroned as kings, since He is the King of kings, & also to serve by His appointment as His priests, since also, He’s the Lord of lords.

Wisdom therefore demands that we honour Him who has bestowed such honour on us though we didn’t deserve it.

Ingratitude always leads to being grounded in life – Psalm 28.5(New Living Translation):

“They care nothing for what the LORD has done or for what His hands have made. So He will tear them down like old buildings and they will never be rebuilt”.

But for everyone of us His children who are always grateful to Him, our Lord Jesus declares in Matthew 16.18(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

18 “…I will build my Church, and the might of Hades shall not triumph over it”.

Our Father made us for His GLORY & therefore, glory must we render Him, always! Isaiah 43.7(New Living Translation):

“All who claim me as their God will come, for I have MADE them for my GLORY.

It was I Who created them”.

In Luke 7.16(Weymouth’s New Testament translation), after our Lord Jesus raised up the dead son of that widow at Nain, it was recorded that, “All were awe-struck, and they gave GLORY to God–…”.

Also, in the same Luke’s gospel account, chapter 17.12-19, Scriptures recorded the encounters the ten lepers had with our Lord Jesus.

Our Lord Jesus remarked that out of ten people who were healed, only one returned to give glory to God.

We were informed that the man was PRAISING GOD WITH A LOUD VOICE!

You’ve been praying with a loud voice, now start PRAISING HIM WITH A LOUD VOICE, START GLORIFYING HIM WITH A LOUD VOICE!

15 “One of them, seeing that he was cured, CAME BACK, ADORING and PRAISING GOD IN A LOUD VOICE”,

16 “and he threw himself at the feet of Jesus, THANKING Him. He was a Samaritan”.

17 “Were not all ten made clean?” Jesus asked; “but where are the nine”?

18 “Have none been found TO COME BACK AND GIVE GLORY TO GOD except this foreigner?”

19 “And He said to him, “Rise and go: your faith has cured you“.

I decree that whatever is like leprosy in your life, making you to be avoided by your peers, family members & other people who should be favouring & associating with you, be removed from now, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

Beloved, by that word, our Father’s power has gone into operation in your life, so start praising & glorifying Him, now!

I read the testimony of a lady who had a goitre.

She heard of a man of God coming to her area & she went for the meeting, where

she was prayed for and she believed she was healed.

A year after, the same man of God was in that same place and this lady, though physically, the goitre was still there but in faith, she testified of her healing.

Getting home that night, she testified to her family members of her healing again, just as she had been doing for about a year.

That particular night, her mother reacted sharply against her & the testimony, pointing out that she is embarrassing the family by her “negative claims”, asking her to go see for herself in the mirror that the growth was enlarging.

The story has it that the lady wasn’t offended at all, rather she went to her room & prayed that God should help the faith of her family members just as He helped hers a year ago, to believe how she believed for her healing.

Lo, beloved, by the following morning, the goitre had disappeared!

I don’t care for how long that embarrassment has been in your life, by the authority & the ability of Him Who sent me to PREACH THE WORD OF FAITH THAT WORKS BY LOVE FOR THE TERMINATION OF THE SUFFERINGS OF HUMANITY ALL OVER THE WORLD, I declare the total end of that satanic harassment, in Jesus’ most colourful name!

2. The supernatural advances & expands our Father’s Kingdom on the earth, here – John 4.48

(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

48 “Unless you and others see miracles and marvels,” said Jesus, “nothing will induce you to believe”.

Naturally, people tend to initially believe & be encouraged by what they see.

Acts 5.12,14(Weymouth’s New Testament translation):

12 “Many signs and marvels continued to be done among the people by the Apostles;…”

14 “and more and more believers in the Lord joined them, including great numbers both of men and women”.

Amplified version renders verse 14 like this:

14 “More and more there were being added to the Lord those who believed [those who acknowledged Jesus as their Savior and devoted themselves to Him joined and gathered with them], crowds both of men and of women”,

There are some people who won’t believe you until they witness the power of God at work.

As a child of God, you must know & understand that part of your primary assignment is to be used of God in the promotion & expansion of His Kingdom.

In Luke 11.2(Message version), our Lord Jesus taught us how to pray:

“So, He said, “When you pray, say, Father, reveal Who you are. SET THE WORLD RIGHT”.

The Amplified version puts it like this:

Luke11.2 “And He said to them, When you pray, say: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. YOUR WILL BE DONE [held holy and revered] ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”.

In Luke 9.2 & 10.9, when sending the disciples out on His behalf, our Lord instructed them to PREACH THE FATHER’S KINGDOM & DO MIRACLES.

Luke 9.2(KJV):

[2]”And HE SENT THEM TO PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND TO HEAL THE SICK“.

Luke 10.9(New Living Translation):

“and HEAL THE SICK. As you heal them, SAY, ‘THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR YOU, NOW'”.

As you uphold these purposes of the SUPERNATURAL in your heart & life, you won’t be miracles-barren, in Jesus’ most colourful name!
